After producing the Metro Atlanta Fire Fighter Conference sponsorship video, the DeKalb County Fire Rescue (DCFR) department colored itself impressed. Having seen our work first-hand, they requested we produce a video specifically for their department and find a solution to their recruitment challenges.
The Problem
DCFR is one of the busiest and most dedicated departments in the nation. It’s always evolving, not to mention it’s a great place to work. But the department was having trouble getting the word out, and unfortunately recruitment was low. CATMEDIA, however, was ready for the task.
The Solution
After discussing with DCFR, we came to two conclusions about this video: It needed to stand out from other recruitment videos in quality and substance, and it needed to target young individuals with a call to service. With this in mind, we produced the video you can see here.
When we showed DCFR the product, they were blown away! As a bonus, we cut a one-minute condensed version of the video for their social media campaign and extended its reach even further.
