We Employ Creativity to Solve Problems and Help Our Clients Succeed

CATMEDIA Founder and CEO, Catherine Downey, built her company on five core values:

  • Creativity
  • Quality of products and services
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Innovation
  • Integrity

Unfortunately, there isn’t really a good way to organize them into a snappy acronym, but that doesn’t make them any less important. These principles are the foundation of our business and project management approach. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today.

History

In 1986, CATMEDIA Founder and CEO, Catherine Downey, created Downey and Warren Advertising building upon years of media production, broadcast television, and project management experience.

Downey, a single mom, launched CATVIDEO in 1997 and built a thriving business all while caring for her young family. Once her children were grown, she redoubled her efforts and expanded the firm to meet the ever-changing needs of federal and commercial clients in today’s fast-paced world. In 2011, Downey changed the company name to CATMEDIA to reflect the company’s expanding services.

CATMEDIA is recognized as a leader among government services and commercial contractors. Fully staffed with true innovators, the firm is patent-pending on several training and communications technologies, and has twice been named to the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
